What is LinkDrop?

A plugin that downloads straight into your editor.

LinkDrop is a plugin that lives inside DaVinci Resolve Studio and Adobe Premiere Pro. Instead of downloading videos and music in separate apps and importing files by hand, you paste a link and the media lands on your timeline — ready to cut, with the right name, resolution and format.

  1. 1

    Create your account

Sign up on the site and grab your license key. Every account starts with a free 24h trial.

  2. 2

    Install the plugin

Download the installer for macOS or Windows and open LinkDrop from Workspace → Scripts in DaVinci or the Window menu in Premiere.

  3. 3

    Paste and go

Copy any link — YouTube, Spotify, TikTok... — choose where it lands and click import. It's on the timeline in seconds.

Where it runs

One tool. Two editors.

LinkDrop lives inside your editor. Pick your app, paste a link and the media lands on the timeline.

Support the project

No donations. Just a follow.

LinkDrop costs R$ 69,90 per year, with a free 24h trial on every new account. If the app helps you, tap the button and follow me on Instagram, that alone supports the project a ton.

FAQ

In DaVinci Resolve Studio, go to Workspace → Scripts → LinkDrop. In Adobe Premiere Pro, open the LinkDrop panel from the Window menu. That's it, no other apps needed.

DaVinci Resolve Studio. LinkDrop only runs on the Studio version; the free Resolve cannot open plugin windows.

Yes. There is a dedicated LinkDrop panel for Premiere Pro, with the same one-click import. Premiere licenses are separate from DaVinci licenses.

Over 1,000 sites: YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, Instagram, TikTok, X and more. Copy the link, paste, done.

R$ 69,90 per year, one license per computer. Every new account gets a free 24h trial, no card needed, and the same trial key works in both DaVinci and Premiere.

Both. Download the DMG for macOS 13+ or the .exe for Windows 10/11. No admin rights needed.

That's macOS blocking an unverified app. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the LinkDrop block message and click Open Anyway. One time only, then it opens normally.
